Ben Nelson is a full-time REALTOR® with Ruhl&Ruhl REALTORS in DeWitt, Iowa. As a dedicated real estate professional licensed in both Iowa and Illinois, I am proud to serve homebuyers and sellers throughout DeWitt, Clinton, the Quad Cities, and surrounding communities.
My path into real estate follows eight fulfilling years of service in the United States Navy, where I developed discipline, attention to detail, a strong sense of community, and a commitment to excellence—values I bring to every real estate transaction.
Originally from northern Wisconsin, I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, golfing, or simply relaxing in the backyard, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family. During my time in the Navy, I was fortunate to live in San Diego, California, where I embraced surfing, rock climbing, and skiing in the mountains. These experiences shaped my understanding of how important it is to find the right place to call home—one that truly fits your lifestyle and long-term goals.
Beyond real estate, I am committed to giving back to my community. I currently serve as a Sunday school teacher at my church, where I have the privilege of helping shape the next generation. I am also a proud member of the American Legion, which allows me to stay connected with fellow veterans while supporting our local communities.
I believe in a client-first approach, putting your needs and goals at the center of every decision. My objective is to make the buying or selling process as smooth, informed, and rewarding as possible. Whether you are searching for your dream home or an investment property, I will work diligently to guide you through every step of the process.
Let’s connect and make your real estate goals a reality.
